Armory Animal Hospital Staff
After growing up in Wickford, Rhode Island, Emily attended the University of New Hampshire. She graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors in Wildlife Management. She then worked as a vet tech in a small animal clinic for four years before transitioning to animal rehab by joining Healing Paws in 2009.
Emily feels she now has the best of both worlds with the opening of Armory Animal Hospital and the diversity commonly found in a general practice setting.
Emily now lives in Narragansett with her husband Phil, their two young children and their Australian Cattle Dog.
After growing up in Rhode Island, Alison attended the University of New Hampshire and graduated with a degree in Animal Sciences: Biosciences and Technology. She moved to San Diego after graduation and began working at a pharmaceutical company in the in vivo lab. After realizing that wasn’t for her, she started a job as a veterinary receptionist and then after only a few months she moved to a busy 5 doctor, 24 hour practice and became a veterinary technician.
In 2006 she began her career in animal rehabilitation and attended the Canine Rehab Institute. She moved back East in September 2009 and along with working with her patients at Healing Paws she enjoys the variety that is seen on a daily basis at Armory Animal Hospital.
Jill has been working with animals since 2002, when she started as a veterinary technician at a small animal practice. Since then, Jill has worked in various aspects of the field, from emergency medicine to a feline only practice. She also gained some large animal experience from her years of volunteering at a farm animal sanctuary.
Jill resides with her 3 cats as well as Beans and Silent Bob, her two rabbits. In her down time, she enjoys volunteering at Providence Animal Control, hiking and taking shelter dogs on field trips.
