Kit
Veterinary Technician Kit’s career in veterinary medicine began in 1999 at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, where she worked in various departments. She eventually chose to focus on nursing, becoming the hospital’s chemotherapy nurse, and eventually a Head Nurse in the Critical Care Unit, where she was responsible for the training of the rest of the nursing staff. After a career hiatus, she has chosen to return to the field to focus on a small local hospital in order to directly serve animals in her community. She lives in Providence with her husband Matt and six feral and rescue cats. She has volunteered as a zoo docent and devotes her spare time to feral cat rescue and rhinoceros conservation.
