Jeff Corey, DVM
Founder, Veterinarian and Rehabilitation Practitioner Dr. Jeff Corey is a graduate of North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has extensive experience practicing in both the emergency and small animal day clinic settings. But he has found his true passion in the rehabilitation specialty. Dr. Corey earned his certification for acupuncture (cVMA) from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is also one of only a few veterinarians in RI to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) through the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Corey’s affinity for healing four-legged friends began when he got his first pet at 10 years of age. After finding an injured cat while on a family vacation in Cape Cod, he talked his parents into bringing the cat home and later named him Toby. He didn’t get his first dog until years later, when he was in veterinary school – he adopted Milo after the dog had been hit by a truck. His next dog, Zoe, had suffered a similar accident before luck turned on her side and Dr. Corey took her in. Dr Corey’s family includes his wife Siobhan, their young sons Liam and Hayden and their two dogs Tucker and Dora and three cats Cordelia, Evey and Marlowe.
