COVID 19 Statement
Our animal hospital is a locally-owned and family-run small business. We will continue to remain open although our hours have been reduced to maintain staff safety and also due to reduced staffing.
We are implementing the following procedure to protect the health and safety of our community:
• Please text 401 648 0009 when you arrive for your scheduled appointment. In the text provide your name, your pet’s name and your car model. We will call you to acquire information through the phone and then meet at the transfer station with both parties wearing a mask.
Please also note that our hours have changed. Our new hours are Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30 and we are closed for lunch between 12 and 1.
As the change in recent guidelines reflect, it seems that this Spring and Summer will be one of hope and the return of a new normal that is closer to what many of us took for granted prior to 2020. It is very promising that we are now able to let our guard down a little in outdoor public settings.
At this point in time Armory Animal Hospital and Healing Paws will continue to operate as we have done since COVID arrived. We will continue to be curbside and will require masks when there is any outdoor client interaction.
In the Fall we will begin to be open for Armory clients two Saturdays per month.
Please appreciate that this is because we care about you and we know you care about us. We look forward to the day that we can welcome you back into the building because we miss the spontaneity of those interactions and seeing everyone’s (partially covered) friendly face.
Although things are looking up, our tentative plan is to remain in this mode through this Winter and open our doors in early Spring 2022. If this is too long to wait, of course we understand and will do our best to facilitate any transfer of records as other clinics most likely open-up sooner.
We are deeply grateful for the support our amazing clients have shown us during this challenging time.
